Find an architect

Find a licensed architect, or check the one you already have

Only architects and firms on RIA's register may lawfully offer architectural services in Rwanda. Check a name in seconds, find a practice for your project, and understand what a good appointment looks like before you sign anything.

A construction professional reviewing work at a modern building site

A building is the largest purchase most people ever make, and the person who designs it decides more about the outcome than anyone else involved. Whether it is safe. Whether it will be approved. Whether it suits the way you actually live or work. How much of your budget goes into the building, and how much goes into correcting it later.

Practice is reserved by law Only registered professionals may lawfully design or supervise building work in Rwanda.
The risk lands on you Unregistered work shows up as refused approvals, rework, and problems the building carries for decades.
Checking is quick and free It costs nothing, takes about fifteen seconds, and is the most useful thing you can do before paying anyone.

Why this matters

Most people never check

Rwandan law reserves architectural work to registered professionals. If someone is designing or supervising building work and they are not on this register, they are practising unlawfully. Checking is the simplest safeguard available to you, and almost nobody uses it before handing over money.

Free, no account needed, and a name will do if you have no registration number.
